Who is eligible to attend the Texas Beauty & Wellness Show?


This year we have a Community Day, held on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Infants or children under the age of 12 will be permitted on Community day. No infants or children under the age of 12 will be permitted on Monday. Texas International Hair Show is open to licensed beauty industry professionals and cosmetology students. All licensed attendees will be required to present a photo ID and one of the following credentials:

  • Salon or Spa business license denoting salon ownership.
  • Cosmetology, Nail Technician, Esthetician, Massage Therapist license
  • Cosmetology school business, state license or ID Card
  • Active Class Schedule or Active Unofficial Transcript
  • Student Enrollment Verification Form
Unlicensed guests are permitted to enter the show, however, they are not permitted to attend educational classes on "Professional Day". Unlicensed guests are also not permitted to purchase products deemed ”professional only” in the exhibit hall. No infants or children under the age of 12 will be permitted on "Professional Day".




Why are unlicensed guests limited in participation?


The Texas International Beauty & Wellness Expo is an expo for beauty professionals as well as the community. We have implemented a "Community Day" for unlicensed guest. There are certain areas that are industry specfic and you must be licensed or a student to participate. All attendees are required to be a licensed professional or salon/barber business owner to have access to Professional Classes and products. Our exhibitors rent booth space to have access to a certain type of customer. TIBWE allows unlicensed guests to attend, however, only professionals can purchase professional products. The armbands issued will differentiate the type of participant. There will be exhibitors that may sell to unlicensed guests but those products will likely be retail products.

Are refunds available if I purchase my ticket but am not able to attend?


All sales are final, there are no refunds. In extreme weather situations, the death of a close relative or medical emergencies a credit for the next show will be given. Requests for credits must be submitted by October 23, 2021, to info@texashairshows.com.




What should I do if I lose my wristband?


All Sales are Final. You will be required to purchase another wristband to gain entrance to the show.

Are CEU hours available?


Yes, you will be able to pay for your CEU hours through our continued education provider. Center of Attraction Hair Gallery Provider #1859 will be located right at the entrance of the exhibit floor. Please bring your cosmetology license stub to present to the continued education provider.




What time will the exhibit floor open and close?


The exhibit floor will open at 10 am and will close at 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Monday no exhibits.




Will there be night events?


There will be a night event the Shear Soiree held on Saturday starting at 7pm, location TBD. Our Sunday night, America's Next Top Stylist Hair Battle will be held in the Ballroom starting at 7pm.
