The title “Naked Truth” stems from attending many classes over the years that lacked  creativity and left many  empty. Some classes show us the dessert but, never serve it up. I want to change the educational background of this industry and that’s why I have founded the Color Studio Advance Training Center and www.teachmecolor.com.  Like every stylist who had a dream of owning their own salon, Color Studio was that dream for me. Shared with a developed passion to educate, it made sense to combine the two things I loved the most other than God and my family.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

                 This course exposes all the myths and speculations of hair color and how it is perceived to the Cosmetology professional. This class starts with the basics and gradually excellerates to a middle ground. Towards the end of the class you’re prepared to experience more advance procedures. This class is targeted towards the black stylist to conquer issues that we deal with in the salon on a daily basis such as gray hair and performing a hair color while still keeping the integrity of the hair intact.

Rebecca Kirby is the daughter of the Adrian the “DreamWeaver” and Bonnie Kirby, one of the most respected Aestheticians in the field. She is the Director of Education and Research for Shapes Inc. as well as an educator for the Dallas Academy of Hair Extension Training. After spending most of his time asking his own hairstylist questions and finding inspiration in the hair industry, Manny started to professionally work with hair at the age of 19.

Now at 27, Manny V has readily made a name for himself in the professional salon industry. He has worked at The Art of Hair Salon since its start – developing it into the ‘go-to’ salon in the Dallas Metroplex. Manny also returned back to his hometown of Odessa for three years, where he was the hairstylists to many of the news anchors of the NewsWest 9 news team and the Odessa Roughnecks Cheerleaders. He is professionally certified in SO.CAP. USA Hair Extensions and an All-Nutrient 100% Organic Haircolor Instuctor, as well as a Certified Make Up Artist. Manny has also been selected for numerous photo shoots including developing new imagery for All-Nutrient 100% Organic Haircolor.
